Attributes of a Fairy Tale

A fairy tale is a story that has magic. It has talking animals. Some have witches. They usually have Kingdoms in far off lands. Most have happily ever after endings. Almost every fairy tail happens at a nonspecific time.

Where Did The First Fairy Tale Come From?

Some research shows that some of the first fairy tales were made in the bronze age. Others date back to the 19th century.  The name  “fairy tale” first originated some time in the 17 century. It may take a long time to find the first fairy tale but we can track down the first fairy tales of people long ago. For instance one of Hans Christian Andersen’s first fairy tales is “Baba Yaga”.

What are Some Old Fairy Tales?

Fairy tales come from all over the world and were created long ago. Some examples of old fairy tales are “Baba Yaga,” “Rapunzel,” “ Hansel and Gretel” and many others. These are some examples of old fairy tales.
