With the new school year beginning, people have had a need for a new, spill proof water bottle. A water bottle that comes in various shapes and sizes. Pelham Middle school has found the perfect candidate; a new trending water bottle called an “Owala”. After doing some tests and research on owalas I believe that they are the perfect school water bottle.

Variety:

Owalas come in many colors, shapes, and sizes. To keep owners on their toes, Owala releases new lines of water bottles every month. This month of September  it was a water bottle with cartoon ghosts on it for halloween. So as you can see, the customization is limitless with Owala’s options, so overall, a 8.5/10 for Variety.

Spilling:

After testing the 32.oz water bottle by flipping it upside down, running with it in my hand, and shaking it, I have come to the conclusion that it is completely spill proof. 

(DISCLAIMER: ALTHOUGH I TESTED THE WATER BOTTLE TO MAKE SURE IT WAS SPILL PROOF,  OWALA BOTTLES LIKE THE TUMBLER MAY LEAK)

Durability to liquids: The owala is not able to withstand hot liquids. So, if you drink coffee, tea, or any hot liquid, I would not recommend this water bottle. 

Summary: This bottle has its flaws, and it’s perks, overall it is a great option for your kid, or for yourself. I can completely see why this water bottle is popular.
