Once upon a time there was a house that had been forbidden to all trick or treaters in Pelham.
“Can we go trick or treating?” Chris yelled when he was done with dinner.
“Yes, why not?” Mom said sweetly. “Are you going with the family or your friends?”
“I’ll go with both family first friends after.”Chris said excitedly.”Let’s go!”
As they were trick or treating they came across a small house.
“Wow Mom, look at that big bag of candy” Chris yelled “And the sign even says take ten! Wait, are those full size candy bars? I’m going!” Chris started waking up to the house
“No,” Mom stopped him before he got too far. “Nobody ever escapes that house. Anyways I think I’m too tired to walk anymore. You can meet up with your friends.”
But that wasn’t his plan. He was set on getting 10 full size candy bars all to himself. So he walked up to the house. The leaves were in the air. The night was cold and dark. He stepped on the doorstep and started taking the candy. He heard big footsteps. “I will take all the candy.” he muttered to himself.
But before he could, a big, booming voice said “Hello my young one.” . . .
