Owalas are great water bottles that have taken the internet by storm. These trendy bottles come in many colors, with rainbow being the rarest. These Owala water bottles became popular for the looks and the purpose they serve! When Owala has a color drop, they sell out in under 30 minutes! Not only that, but Owalas are said to keep water at their temperature for 24 hours. You might be wondering where the name Owala came from. The answer is: supposedly when you drink out of the water bottle you look like a koala, from that originated Owala!
These water bottles come in many colors and keep liquids at their temperature for a long time: they are Stanleys! Stanleys’ durable water bottles have been popular since 2019. The most popular one, the Stanley Tumbler had $750 million in annual sales, just in 2023! Stanley was the most popular water bottle for a good part of 2023 and 2024. But, a lingering question is, have times changed? Stanley fans say Stanleys remains the best water bottle on the market. There has been a recent decline in Stanley’s sales, that has to do with the fact that there is lead in the water bottles! According to Stanley their tumblers do have lead, although it isn’t accessible when drinking. While it is very unlikely that drinking from a Stanley will result with lead inside you, it is a reason not to like Stanleys and is a big part of their sales decline.
To sum things up, Stanleys and Owalas are both great water bottles that have had their rein as the best. Though currently one brand stands alone as the best: OWALAS! It’s no debate, there are stats to back it up. In an anonymous poll people were asked which water bottle they thought was better. Owala won 28 to 5! Although it’s a small sample size I think if everybody is honest, we can all agree Owalas are currently the most popular water bottle.
