In the month of January archaeologists uncovered an intricately carved and painted tomb in northern Egypt. This tomb is 4100 years old and belongs to the Royal Doctor who tended to the Royal Family. This tomb was discovered in Saqqara, the necropolis of the Ancient Capital city of Memphis.
About the doctor
The doctor’s name is Teti Neb fu who was famously known in Egypt and had many titles. The hieroglyphics in the tomb state that he was a chief palace physician, priest, chief dentist, and the director of medical plants. The doctor was told to specialize in Scorpion stings and sometimes other stings. Teti Nebu Fu was said to have served Pepi ll who reigned from 2246 to 2152 BC, in the 6th dynasty of Ancient Egypt.
