Winter has Arrived

When flurries begin to fall,

And the leaves fall off the trees,

Winter has arrived,

The air turns crisp,

And water turns into ice,

Families rush to buy gifts for loved ones,

Winter has arrived,

The fire is warm,

And hot chocolate is comforting,

Lights brighten the barren streets,

Winter has arrived,

Carolers sing and children sled,

Snow angels are made and snowballs are thrown,

Winter has arrived,

Snowmen are made and igloos become homes to children,

And until the sun makes its appearance again, winter will last!
