In the last article, we read about Mrs.Devito’s sweet potato wedges. Now it’s time for us to embark on our next culinary adventure and expand our tastes with Mrs. Weyant’s sausage bread. Sausage bread is very flexible and is perfect for many occasions.

Mrs. Weyant’s Superb Sausage Bread

A delectable, filling, amazing dish.

Ingredients

1 pound Italian sausage 

2 cups shredded mozzarella

1 Pillsbury Pizza dough

Garlic powder (to taste)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions 

First, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Squeeze the sausage out of the casing and cook through. Add the garlic powder to taste. Next drain the grease. Spray baking sheet with non-stick spray. Roll out Pillsbury Pizza dough on the baking sheet. Spread cooked Italian sausage into a thin layer of dough. Spread shredded mozzarella over the top of the sausage. Roll end to end into a roll. Brush the olive oil over the top of the bread roll. Bake for 30 minutes or until it is golden brown.
