New School Year

Elementary school might have been fun

But middle school has just begun

A new school might be scary

You will have different rooms for each class

English, Science, Social Studies and Math

Art in the art room

And PE in the green grass

Band in the band room

For the woodwinds, percussion, and brass

Orchestra in the auditorium 

For the violins, violas, cellos, and bass

Chorus is where you will sing

Until the end of spring

Making new friends can be fun

Eating lunch with them all in the cafeteria

You can get cut the whole line or get a snack with a pass

And have fun with your friends during recess

At 2:51 the school day will be done

And you will go back tomorrow for a new one
