SPRING IN PELHAM

These days stretch, long and bright

At 6:00 there isn’t a glimpse of the night

In the hero’s walkway, there is no more fog and gloom

Instead beautiful cherry blossoms are in bloom

April is near, May is in sight,

We can all hope warm weather will take flight

So pack up your hats, put away your jacket

For you’ve began to see birds making a racket

Which is surely a sign of less dreariness, less cold

We all can’t wait for spring to further unfold
