Pelham pride is very important in Pelham Middle School. In school many students and teachers wear their Pelham pride clothing, such as shirts and sweatshirts. This clothing shows pride for Pelham because they all show symbols or colors for Pelham. Not only do people show Pelham pride by wearing the designed clothing, but also by just wearing Pelham colors. These colors are white, blue, and gold. People wear these colors to show pride for Pelham. Pelicans are a symbol for Pelham. All sports teams have a pelican as their mascot, for Pelham. Therefore, showing a pelican symbol shows pride for Pelham.

In Pelham Middle School, both students and staff show Pelham pride. On Fridays staff members wear Pelham clothing and colors to show pride. Students show off their Pelham pride while even participating in sports. This is because the jerseys show the colors of Pelham. In addition, during spirit weeks there is normally a Pelham pride day. On this day each grade dresses in their corresponding Pelham color. Overall, Pelham pride can be found all throughout Pelham Middle school, and sometimes even outside of the school.

People show Pelham pride without even knowing it sometimes. If the person is wearing the corresponding Pelham colors they are showing Pelham pride. Furthermore, some people may wear their Pelham designed clothing outside of school, such as in public places. Pelham pride is important because it shows how people care about Pelham and don’t only think about Pelham as the place where they live. Pelham pride is important and can be found not only in Pelham Middle School.
