Recently, a new cafe opened up in Pelham called the Skylight Kitchen. The area is a small, cozy room, with the smell of authentic pastries filling the air. They have not only pastries, but other things like sandwiches and salads. There’s also a little fridge on the side with a variety of different drinks, such as seltzer, poppi, and water. I recently had their four-cheese grilled cheese, and I was very happy with the meal. The cheeses were melted to perfection, and the bread was crispy and delicious. I also had their raspberry-chocolate croissant, and it was delicious. It was the perfect mix between soft and crumbly from the croissant, tart from the raspberry, and sweet from the chocolate. They also currently have a soft menu, which means that they don’t have an official menu yet, and are still finalizing it and adding new items. Overall, the Skylight Kitchen is a nice, cozy place to go if you’re looking for something simple or sweet. One thing I can confidently say about this place is that it definitely hit my sweet tooth.
